Ayerst Academy

Ayerst Environmental proudly announces the launch of the Ayerst Academy! In partnership with Jobcentre Plus, we have launched an industry based academy. Our first graduates will be entering the job market this December 2011!

In the current job market, we feel it is vital to try and assist quality job seekers to find good work. Our current graduates all bring additional skills to the table from qualified electricians to holders of scientific degrees. This helps the industry with desirable extra skills.

Primarily the Ayerst Academy will provide Ayerst Environmental with trainees who have completed the relevant courses to fill our current contract needs - and our overflow will go to associated employment agencies to assist them with work placement.

The process starts with Jobcentre Plus who sources candidates with the right profile and those who are interested in entering our industry. We send them to the Asbestos Testing and Consultancy Association (ATaC) for industry training.

In keeping with the academy arrangement with Jobcentre Plus, the candidates are given work experience with us at Ayerst Environmental.
